On Origami Therapy

Hi, hello. It's been about a little more than one week since I have broken my wrist. I had a surgery about a few days ago. From the next day, Dr. told me to stretch my fingers straight up!! I was in a great pain, and my hand was still pretty swollen. But I tried what I could do a little by little with a help of some pain killers. I was worried if I could fold origami like I used to. Guess what!! It seems okay to fold. Some parts get painful sometimes, but pretty good. I made an origami crane! I could do pretty much anything like before.

Since I have reported about my broken wrist status, it has been a couple of months. My wrist is not quite functioning as it was before. I still cannot carry heavy stuff. It is pretty close but it still has a pain, swelling, and inflexibility. I have gone back to work and I am able to teach origami to kids again like I used to. Hopefully the day when I feel fairly good comes soon!! (3/31/24)

Time flies! It is almost May. I had been going to Occupational Therapy for a while and my wrist is pretty good, but not quite as good as I wanted. But it has started getting used to more weights. Almost back to normal. I can do jump rope. (4/23/24)
